Economy improving

In spite of the continued doom and gloom, in my opinion, the economy is markedly improving and not just locally.

This week, I have sold a flat in London and a shop in Burnley. I adjusted my valuation expectations but on both properties, sold at different auctions, I had competing bidders.

We’re not out of the woods yet but there is activity and money moving around is good for business. All of my shops are occupied and demand for residential property is stronger than ever.

If we all go out and spend a little, it will trickle back to each of us and now is the time to give some local businesses a boost – they have been patient and you will reap the rewards in the long run.
