About Business Speaker & Entrepreneur Mark Mills
Most Business Speaker websites drone on about the Speaker but Mark Mills is different as he prefers to talk about other peoples' businesses and how he can help them.
Entertaining Business Speaker Mark sold his company Postal Facilities Limited TWICE before forming Cardpoint plc, and his story is both entertaining and enlightening.
"I love speaking to audiences - perhaps I have an insecurity complex and need to banish my fears - but I just enjoy it. OK, sometimes my jokes aren't that funny, but I am up there enjoying myself and invariably the audience gives me a big round of applause, asks questions and asks me back to speak again. Sometimes I stand there and think 'I am being paid to have a good time - it doesn't get better than this!'
I particularly like it when I have researched the company and can address the audience quite specifically. This way, I can help to make the most of the current team which seems ever more important in these challenging times.
So, if you want someone to properly entertain your team, give me a call. Personally, I've given up reading newspapers because they are so depressing and my session is guaranteed to cheer everybody up, which seems to be why people keep booking me!"

The drony bit for those who want it....
Mark Mills founded Cardpoint plc in 1999 and launched it in 2000 and has held many Board of Director roles.
Funded with his own resources and latterly business angels, a stockmarket flotation of Cardpoint plc occured in 2002. Mark and his team grew Cardpoint organically and through acquisition. By the time an offer was made in late 2006 of £170m for Cardpoint, its revenues had soared to £98m with profit for the year ending September 2006 of £19.8m
Retiring from Cardpoint in 2006, Mark now invests in businesses large and small, mentors owner managers on a consultancy basis and acts as a serial Non Executive Director.
Mark's skills include strategy, funding, acquisitions and most important of all, exits and sales.
Mark says "If you're running a business which needs more funding or could do better and you are frustrated in some way, call me today on 01772 688980 and I'll come and see you - no charge and no obligation. You might want to pick my brains about how to make the most of your current team which I have experience of. What have you got to lose?"
Mark is a member of MENSA, an accomplished business speaker, non executive director and serial entrepreneur and this is his personal website where he shares his thoughts, ideas and advice with the public. Along the way, Mark was appointed to Blackpool's Urban Regeneration Council
ReBlackpool which had to be approved by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister.
